I’m Steve Riggs. I started Our Era because I wanted a brand that actually felt like the world that I come from.

Studios. Clubs. Festivals. Afterparties. Long nights in front of a screen. Sweaty dance floors. That buzz you get when a tune drops and everyone feels it at the same time. This is the culture that shaped me as a producer and DJ, and it’s the core of everything that we create here.

Our Era is clothing for the people who live this life for real. The producers digging for inspiration at 3am. The DJs chasing that next mix. The ravers and the creators and the ones who refuse to let go of their passions. Every piece is built around energy, identity, growth, and the belief that you can shape your own path if you stay hungry enough.

Along the way I have been lucky to build the brand with some amazing people. Our partnership with Jack Said What and working alongside Irvine Welsh has added a whole new layer of creativity to what we do. Their influence brings culture, attitude, and a storytelling edge that fits perfectly with the world of Our Era.

Behind the scenes, the company is powered by the support of my business partner Tim Stokes, who helps keep the whole operation strong, focused, and moving forward. His work on the strategic and structural side allows me to pour energy into the creative vision, the brand, and the community.

I put in a lot of hours building the first version of this site myself, but it really levelled up when Rob Miller came on board. He understood the vision straight away and has been shaping it into something smoother, sharper, and far more polished than what I could have done alone. Every time he jumps in, the site gets stronger, cleaner, and closer to what I always imagined for Our Era.

For me, Our Era has always been more than clothing. It’s a mindset and a reminder that this chapter we are living in belongs to all of us. If you create, explore, push yourself, and stay true to who you are, you are already part of the family.
